Renier de Bruyn
Dr Renier de Bruyn graduated in 2001 with a Master’s degree in Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa.
He then spent 8 years running his own family practice in Stellenbosch, a University town, working with patients of all ages and stages including many elite professional and amateur athletes. His free time there was spent surfing and rock climbing.
He emigrated to South Australia with his family in 2009 and settled immediately in beautiful Port Lincoln where he worked as a chiropractic associate for 11 Years.
As a chiropractor Renier has two goals: to make you feel better, and to make you move better.
In combination with standard chiropractic and diagnostic methods, he uses movement assessments and tests in order to expose movement problems in the body. These problems are a common underlying cause of pain and injury and are corrected by treatment or specific exercises, or a combination of both. Bringing these problems to light are very important in not only managing pain and injury but also in preventing it.
He firmly believes that our musculoskeletal health is very important for our general health and if we feel well and move well, we are more likely to be well.
Renier is a keen long- distance runner and competes in marathons and sometimes ultra-marathons.
With their daughters now studying at universities in Adelaide, Renier and his wife Cindy are enjoying the next chapter of their lives in Adelaide.
He joined the Chiropractic Solutions Team in March 2021.
