Remedial Massage Therapy can be defined as the application of various manual techniques to muscles and other soft tissue in order to optimise muscle length and condition.  This provides a range of benefits that result from improved range of motion, increased circulation, and reduction in pain and discomfort. 

Dysfunction caused by poor posture, over-use and under-use of muscles, and the overloading of the nervous system by a fast paced lifestyle, may be assisted with effective Remedial Massage Therapy techniques.

Regular massage may also assist in greater body awareness resulting in improved posture and lifestyle habits such as exercise and stress management.  The result for the individual is less discomfort, less anxiety and stress, and a greatly improved sense of well-being.

Hartmut and Mike have a combined 40 years of experience in massage therapy and hold qualifications in Remedial and Therapeutic Massage.

Between them, they incorporate a wide range of massage techniques including Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Dry Needling and Hot Stone Massage as well as incorporating exercise and stress management into their practice repertoires.

They work in close conjunction with our chiropractors and our practitioners will often confer together (with your permission) to discuss the management of your treatment.

Our Massage Therapists are highly professional, dedicated practitioners who are focused on ensuring that your massage not only achieves those essential therapeutic objectives, but is also an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Many of our massage patients make their massage appointments well in advance to ensure that they get the appointment times they prefer.  Circumstances can change however, and "life" can sometimes get in the way of our well made plans! To successfully manage this, we have a very dynamic waiting list for Massage Appointments making it possible to fill any cancellations we may have with very happy clients who are delighted to receive that call!  If we don't have an appointment available at a time that works for you, we will always offer to take your details and call you should an appointment come up at your desired time.
